Clinical software built from the desk outward
Meddesk started with a simple frustration: the software running most clinics wasn't built by anyone who had actually worked a front desk on a Monday morning.
Most practice management software gets designed around what's easy to build, not what a busy clinic actually needs on a Tuesday afternoon with a full waiting room. Features get bolted on. Modules don't talk to each other. The people doing the scheduling, the charting, and the billing end up working around the software instead of with it.
We built Meddesk the other way - starting with a real practice, not a slide deck. Scheduling, patient records, treatments, prescriptions, and billing all had to work from the same record before we called any of it finished, because that's what a real day at a clinic demands. The Clinical Desk, the dental chart widget, the patient portal - every one of them exists because a real front desk or a real clinician ran into the gap it fills.
That's still how we build. Meddesk is built from the ground up so any practice - a single doctor, a multi-provider clinic, or a hospital coordinating several departments - runs on the same platform with its data kept completely private, and access shaped by role rather than by which product tier they bought.
What we believe
A few things we won't compromise on
Built for the front line
Every screen is designed around the reality of a busy desk and a full waiting room, not a boardroom demo.
One record, no re-entry
A patient's history, treatments, and billing live in one place, so nobody re-keys the same information twice.
Isolation by default
Your data stays completely private to your practice - never mixed, shared, or visible to anyone else on the platform.
Software that keeps up
We ship in small, frequent updates driven by what practices actually run into - not an annual release cycle.
Where we are
Early, deliberately - and shipping in the open
Meddesk is a young platform. We'd rather earn a practice's trust with a working demo and a straight answer than a polished pitch. If you're evaluating us, ask us anything - including what isn't built yet.
